I So Miss Viking Stories

Dear Diary,

I am so missing Viking Romance. I do miss the raids, capture of helpless women and then the falling in love. Connie Mason wrote one of my favorite viking stories called.... wait for it......VIKING! hehe. I would love to read a good viking book. I can only re read the ones I have so many times. I will be on the look out.

I can honestly say I've never read this type of Viking book. I did read a time-travel one about a Viking and a modern man - that was interesting. (The book is "A-Viking" by Kiernan Kelly.)

I like the fantasy version of Vikings, as vampires (eg. Eric Northman in the Sookie Stackhouse books) or from another planet (eg. Outlander - the Jim Caviezel movie, not the Diana Gabaldon series).

The more realistic types of Vikings are a little scary - maybe that's because I'm an Irish-American and my ancestors were always fighting off the Vikings from invading their island.

But - to each her own!
